We are always accepting new volunteers. How do you qualify?
Basic mechanical skills.
Bike repair knowledge helpful, but many of our productive volunteers learned while working with us.
Willing to get a little dirty and have some fun doing it.
A sense of humor.
A desire to help others in need in our community.
Do you want to put your mechanical aptitude to use helping others in the Sarasota County community? SRQ Bike Boys is looking to add to our team of dedicated individuals. We repair donated, used bikes and redistribute them back into the community for people in need.
Bike repair experience is helpful, but not necessary. If you are handy with tools and willing to learn, we’ll teach you the specific tasks. We volunteer Friday’s for approximately 3 hours. You will meet new friends, build new relationships, and get great satisfaction knowing the good you are doing for our SRQ community.
