About SRQ Bike Boys

We are a community not-for-profit group that repairs, refurbishes, and redistributes donated bikes to people in need in the Sarasota County community. The bikes are redistributed free-of-charge to new owners with the help of several 501c3 nonprofit organizations in the Sarasota area. The professional staff of each of these partner organizations determines the recipients of the refurbished bike donations. Many of the recipients have evening jobs working well after the public bus services have shutdown. These bikes provide members of our community with safe, reliable transportation to and from their place of employment. 

SRQ Bike Boys was founded in 2014 and has repaired and redistributed over 3,800 bikes in its first 10 years.
