SRQ Bike Boys has repaired and redistributed over 4,000 bikes in its first 10 years.
A few examples of feedback from the community...
I called last week regarding an unemployed man in recovery without any transportation and you graciously responded with a brand new bike and lock. My neighbor Robert and I can’t thank you enough for what you did and provided him. He was overwhelmed and is now able to peddle to his new job which he just started. I’m happy to report, with your help, he is on his way back. Thanks again to you and everyone at SRQBikeBoys.
God Bless

I am a volunteer with the Guardian ad Litem Office. This role gives me the opportunity to help children who have been abused, abandoned and neglected. As the Guardian ad Litem, I strive to provide some normalcy for these children who come into the foster care system. Recently, I became a Guardian ad Litem for two lovely, shy children. One child shared with me that he would like to have a bicycle. So of course, whatever I would attempt to do for him, I would also do for his sibling who is just a year older.
I was reading an article about bicycles and their benefits, especially for children in care. The research-based information mentions children with trauma and ways to help them to recover their independence and to provide a sense of freedom and accomplishment. Riding a bicycle.
I am so thankful to have found SRQ Bike Boys not for profit organization. I called and spoke to Tom who immediately informed me that he could provide two perfectly sized bikes for the children. I wish there was a way where everyone could see the joy and huge smiles on the faces of these children. We cannot undo the hurt these children have gone through; but we can help to bring more positive and loving childhood memories into their lives every day.
Thank you to all the SRQ Bike Boys and to all those that support this wonderful not for profit organization.
Warm regards,
S. Julian
